Short Course Overview
This specialized course is designed to provide persons with the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver systematic and explicit reading instruction to children between the ages of 3-6 years. It would include: special needs children, typically developing children and multilingual persons. Participants will explore evidence-based strategies, proven instructional methods, and reliable resources to support reading development in diverse learners. The course will address various disabilities that can impact reading, including dyslexia, and provide tailored approaches to meet the unique needs of these learners.
By the end of this 8-week course, teachers, online tutors and homeschool parents will be equipped to implement effective reading instruction and create inclusive learning environments that foster reading success.
